3D Scanning and Reality Capture Services for Existing Conditions
We scan existing buildings, spaces, and objects - and hand off the files your project runs on: registered point clouds, Revit models, CAD drawings, as-built documentation, and reverse-engineered geometry.
Delivered in your tools. Open the file, keep working - native Revit, AutoCAD, and ArchiCAD, no conversion step.
Reality capture built around usable deliverables
WeAre Capture is a US scan-to-model shop documenting existing buildings and objects - plants, campuses, offices, private homes, and parts that exist only as hardware. We match the capture to the site and build every model against the registered point cloud - never traced from old drawings.
The deliverable comes first: you name the files your team needs - RVT, DWG, IFC, E57, RCP/RCS, or 2D PDF sets - and we scope capture, modeling, and QA backwards from that. The same point cloud feeds every output, so a CAD set added after the Revit model starts from data we already have.
Where your project is, at every step
-
1On site Capture and field QC, with a daily status from the crew.
-
2In the shop Registration, modeling, and internal QA.
-
3In your tools Files packaged to your standards and naming, ready to open.
-
4Signed off A model walkthrough, comments closed, files handed over.
You always know three things: what’s been scanned, who owns the current step, and when it moves to the next one.
Every handoff leaves a record - field notes, processing logs, model revisions - so nobody reconstructs the project from email threads.
Why teams switch to us

General contractors
Bid and build from verified existing conditions - not decades-old drawings that send crews back for missed dimensions.
Poor project data and miscommunication drove an estimated $31.3B of U.S. construction rework in a single year.1
Architects & engineers
Start design on geometry you can trust. Scan-based as-builts replace assumption-stacked record drawings.
Construction RFIs dropped 74% in the foundation phase of a documented BIM-coordinated project.2
Owners & facility managers
Documentation that outlives the project: point clouds and models become the operating record of the building.
Inadequate building-data interoperability costs U.S. owners about $10.6B a year - most of it in operations.3
Real estate & brokers
Matterport tours, floor plans, and square footage you can defend - for listings, leasing, and due diligence.
Across studied U.S. markets, listings with 3D tours sold at a 4-9% price premium - and up to 31% faster in the strongest market.5
Homeowners & private clients
Renovations, additions, heritage homes, insurance records - the same capture workflow, scaled to a single property.
Floor plans, 3D models, or measured drawings - you choose the output.
And everyone else
Developers, manufacturers, insurance adjusters, fabricators, preservation teams - if it stands on a site or fits on a bench, we can capture and model it.
